Glenn Weinfeld, DPM, performed surgery to correct my bunion and caused worse pain and daily pain after surgery. During follow up appointments, he did not offer any real exploration of the cause of the pain, and he brushed me off without offering help of any kind. After 2 years of physical therapy and 4 years of pain, I found an orthopedic surgeon at HSS who diagnosed that Weinfeld performed the surgery with my foot in the wrong position. THIS IS INEXCUSABLE. I do NOT recommend Weinfeld for surgery.

I never got to see him. His office staff are horrible. Optum’s confirmation gave me a bad GPS link that literally sent me to the woods. I called ahead to tell them I was lost and running late, but when I arrived they wouldn’t see me. Didn’t care that I had called ahead — nurse said it was only a call center. Huh? Aren’t I supposed to call the number they provide? I had missed the 15 minute deadline and they were too booked to see me. I was treated like a piece of meat. Optum and this entire office needs to take responsibility. They are supposed to be caregivers; not bureaucrats.

Recommended by my daughter who works with the Dr. Both wife and I visited/treated. He has exceptional bedside manner and explains treatment options clearly, recommending least invasive first. We are confident in his expertise and level of care and recommend him highly.

Dr. Weinfeld has been so helpful as a specialist to me and my family. His staff is friendly and courteous. He is kind , caring and down to earth, explains everything so that we have a good understanding of the problem and will answer our questions, would give him a strong recommendation

I saw him and he was the rudest doctor I ever saw. He told me he wasn’t going to help me because I didn’t listen to him I needed surgery and it had to be postponed due to cancer diagnosis and he had no compassion and would not help me because “I don’t listen to what he said and stay off my foot “ even though it’s impossible due to my current diagnosis he told me I need to beg borrow and steal to pay someone to come watch my 2 small children. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR !!!!
