I was a patient of Dr. Schlapper for a couple years and he helped me in so many ways above and beyond what I originally went to him for. Sometimes, the office is a bit chaotic but as a patient of his, the least I can be is patient with him...

seemed very concerned and caring but a bit out there to begin with. Since then every month he has become more and more confused. Can't remember basic things about me after seeing him every month for over a year.

An experienced and qualified Doctor who takes time to listen. Since seeing this physician I have seen positive changes in my son, physically and mentally. I highly recommend.

THIS DOCTOR IS MENTALLY IMPAIRED. DELUSIONAL. BARELY CAN WALK AND TALK.NEEDS TO RETIRE

My husband and I used this practice for years, and sang their praises to anyone who would listen, but since they have been acquired by Florida Hospital, service has gone down the tube in this office.Phone calls are not returned. Cryptic messages are left on voicemail, but to speak to an actual person you have to call back several times. My insurance company recently needed special authorization for a medication they prescribed. They said they were working on it. I called and followed up twice with the Dr's office, but nothing. Two weeks later, I finally followed up with my insurance company, only to find out they had NEVER placed the call. I called again, and this time they took care of it within the hour - but this was after a TWO WEEK wait. Unacceptable. I'm sorry to say that we're looking for a new family physician.

So pleased to find a doctor that spends a few extra minutes to ask the extra questions to find the right diagnosis. Great staff that actually calls you back and calls with test results even when they are normal! Love his ARNP Angela also. Very gentle and professional!

It's a huge fear of mine to even go to the doctor, much less the hospital. He's easy to talk to, he listens and helps. I'm so glad I went to him, otherwise, my condition would go untreated. He and his staff go above and beyond, helping me get my medications discounted.The doctor is very gentle and you never get the feeling of being rushed. At first, a few staff members seemed harsh or uncaring, but after I got to know them, they were great. I'm sad that he doesn't want to treat me as a regular patient because I have no health insurance, he does what he can, but I have to pay a reasonable amount in cash before I see him. I can only afford one doctor and I would be happy if it was him. One recommendation for improvement: When you go to the receptionist's window you may very well get totally ignored, no eye contact. You don't know whether to say something, sign something or just sit down and wait, because they are not on the phone or anything. It would be the best in customer… service to just have someone acknowledge you and say, "I'll be right with you, please have a seat."

Angela has been a blessing to me, diagnosing my problem, and if she ever moves on I will definately follow. But, I refuse to be treated the way I was treated by the office staff. They were totally unprofessional and uncaring (except for Angela's nurse). After 3 phone calls and 2 days trying to get a prescription for my medicine, the experience I had when I went to the office was totally horrible. Needs new staff that actually cares for the patients like the doctors there do.
