Although Dr. Sun’s primary concern is my husbands care his compassion and professionalism toward our entire family goes beyond our greatest expectations. As my husband was able to heal physically Dr Sun’s guidance allowed us to also mentally heal.

How anyone could possibly give this man less than a 5 star rating is beyond me. Dr. Sun had taken care of, and I believe saved my brothers life 5 years ago. I knew if I ever needed to see a gastroenterologist myself it would be him. I have being having issues, I’m not a person that runs to the doctor easily, but I knew it was time. Dr. Sun was so unbelievably calming, caring and non judgmental. I know there are changes I need to make and I will. Dr. Sun is the kindest doctor I’ve ever been to. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but, I’m not one bit nervous about the colonoscopy I’m going to have in 2 weeks. Dr. Sun assured me he will perform the procedure and I’m not one bit nervous. Why can’t all doctors be like Dr. Sun? If you read this Dr. Sun.....thank you and please don’t ever change.

I was recently hospitalized at Stony Brook Hospital. Dr. Sun was exceptionally caring, taking time to explain my diagnosis and the next steps. He was extremely patient. I feel lucky that Dr. Sun was part of the team taking care of me. His nurses and trainees were excellent as well.
