Dr. Anna Marian Tubman, MD

She shamed me for not breastfeeding. She did an awful job removing my ingrown toe nail and never gave me follow up care. I gave her many chances and was never impressed.

Unable to communicate and shows extreme bias!

Both times I saw Dr. Tubman, I felt rushed and not heard. She did not support my choice for my child in regards to nursing and felt as if she was shaming me.

I saw established Dr. Tubman as my pcp and I had my gallbladder removed 4 months ago. Diarrhea has gotten worse and is 5+ times a day almost every day. I'm also getting UTI after UTI. I subsequently suffered what was possibly an ovarian cyst the day before my appoint. Said she would put in order for ULtrasound of my pelvis and also after reviewing my lab work would put in an order for a cholesterol medication (not a statin) to help bind the excess bile acids which are possibly what is causing my GI distress and is known to occur after gallbladder removal (called BAM type 3). I am a wait and see type of person; I gave my body months to adjust. She sends me an email after reviewing labs saying she doesnt see any need to change my medications and to eat more leafy greens for a potassium deficiency. At the same time they never placed my US order and I had to call the office THREE times to request it after I experienced the same type of pain 2 days after my appointment. So they… finally got it sent to the facility across the street on the FOURTH try. She (or staff, idk) never wrote the order in the first place, then they told me I needed insurance authorization for the exam and needed to wait (incorrect- MOST insurances in network do not require for this type of exam and I KNOW mine does not, which I told them. On a side note, isnt it MY problem because I am the one paying the bill?) Then they tried to send me to their NWPC imaging facility in Milwaukie when I live in Oregon City, see the Dr. In OC, and work at the hospital in OC! Why would I drive up there when I'm in excruciating pain so I can fight traffic on the 205/224 and spend an hour getting there and an hour coming back on a Friday afternoon in rush hour? THat's saying they got me in same day. I will say I've heard imaging services cost more than at a hospital anyway, but I dont want to say that is for sure because I dont know for a fact and it's only heresay. So basically, no plan of action or referral to gastroenterologist, no rx to try to relieve diarrhea, no suggestions on tackling the UTIs. NOTE: I want to make it clear that I did NOT request ANY pain meds or opiates due to the pain I was in so in no way was this a ploy to obtain them nor is this any sort of retaliation for them not being prescribed. I am giving an honest review of the patient care I personally received.
