Dr. William Edward Steffes JR., MD

Dr. Steffes is the best dermatologist in all of metropolitan Orlando. He diagnosed my condition and cured me when no other dermatologist, nor hospital doctor, could. He saved my life. He is polite and respectful. Unfortunately his staff specifically for biologics makes too many critical errors, resulting twice in my hospitalization! And I have to spend countless hours/days on the phone correcting her mistakes and getting forms when she gives me the wrong forms. I mentioned it to the office manager, who had no idea. No idea that your staff member's careless mistakes caused a patient to suffer in pain and be hospitalized...twice?!

Dr. Steffes is knowledgeable, professional, personable and thorough. He listens and he explains. I feel that I am in excellent hands with his care. His "bedside manner" is exemplary. These are the comments of a retired physician.

Dr. Steffes surgically removed a spot on my leg and left a scar that looks like I was mutilated. When I went back to get my stitches removed, Dr. Steffes was not on hand even though I had concerns about the looks of the incision at the time. The lab is in house, which itself is very suspicious, and there are a surprising number of patients in the waiting room each Friday awaiting surgery. It seems very much like conveyor belt service.

Dr Steffes is very thorough and well educated. He and his staff are efficient and kind. I am VERY satisfied with the care I received.
