Dr. Matthew Evan Wolfson, MD

I was referred to Dr. Wolfson by another group. When I went to the office he ordered xrays (the xray tech didn't provide me with a shield and when asked for one she made a face and tossed it on my lap. I brought this to Dr. Wolfson's attention and his reply was it's a holiday weekend [it was 10:30 am] they're probably in a rush to leave) Bad answer ! I had injured my foot in a slip and struck my foot on a metal toolbox. Wolfson never examined my foot, never palpated it and simply looked at the xrays and said, "nothing broken you should be fine." Pain continued for 2 weeks I called the office back left a message, no one returned my call. I called again and set a follow up which I then cancelled because I'd lost trust in the office. Actually Stephanie at the office referred me to Dr. Daniel Elgut, who examined me, palpated my foot and determined that it is most probably a partial tear or bruise to the Peroneus Brevis tendon and prescribed an immobilization booth for two weeks and will… follow up with an MRI if needed. Clearly Wolfson is a surgeon and not a physician, a distinction WITH a difference. I get it, he wants to do surgery, so therefore he should only take surgical cases and leave the rest to qualified healers. Someone like this I wouldn't go to for any reason.

Had a fall and Dr. Wolfson was probably one of the finest physicians I have consulted with. He was thorough and very caring. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who needs his exptertise.

Such a great experience! Such a nice, young doctor and so smart. Dr. Wolfson explained everything very thoroughly and helped me get through my injury and now I'm finally pain free and back to my workout routine. Definitely recommend him!

Dr. Wolfson was able to see me the same day that I called his office. I was in so much pain and he took great care of me. Extremely professional, nice and a wonderful bedside manner.
