Dr. Kourtney Lane Krohn, DO

I often choose younger doctors for primary care since they are usually more up-to-date with medical information. I found Dr. Krohn to be very rude, would not make eye contact, and VERY dismissive when I voiced concerns I had. I am in my mid-50s and am interested in a doctor who would be caring and advocate for me, especially as I age. She was very cold and seemed to be bothered by my being there. I found myself becoming very nervous before seeing her and not comfortable discussing my health concerns. I try to be a good patient and not waste their time, but I realized if I could not be comfortable with her during a routine wellness visit, it was time to find a new doctor. I needed someone who would look out for my best interests and truly care enough to want to help me. She is not that doctor - zero compassion and bedside manner is horrible.

Dr. Krohn actually listens. She cares. I always walk out knowing that Dr. Krohn’s advice/suggestions/recommendations are well-thought. I know, she has limited time with each patient, yet I never feel rushed out of the room. Can’t recommend enough!

Dr. Krohn is professional, an excellent physician, very interested in her patients care and wellbeing. Dr. Krohn asks you what issues you are having and then listens. Dr. Krohn gives options for your condition and your care moving forward. I trust her 100%.

Dr Krohn advertises that she likes your input in her care, but that is a lie. She tries to force and intimidate you to her beliefs and desires. She argued with me my whole visit.

I have been seeing Dr Krohn for over two years with confidence. She has always listened, discussed my concerns and been very attentive to my needs. After leaving my previous doctor of 20 years due to relocating to NC I tried three other doctors that left me disappointed. Dr Krohn has been excellent!

Dr. KROHN dropped me as a patient during a pandemic and in the mist of getting my health issues under control. She chose to believe her coworker Physician Asst NAJLA who lied and said I told her I thought Dr. KROHN was a racist. I am a black woman. No sane black person would have a racist for a doctor especially in today's climate but Dr. Krohn choose to believe her coworker. Dr. Krohn said she takes racism seriously, she's a white women, imagine how I feel. I would never subject myself to care from a racist. It makes no rational sense. I wish I knew the name of the person who called me. The bunch of them should be ashamed. But I doubt it. I think I was just a number attached with $$$. She didn't care about my care. I went in to have pain in arm check by Najla and the next day had no doctor. It was my first and only time seeing PA NAJLA WHO JUST GRADUATED FROM SCHOOL (summer) 2019 according to online sources. I saw NAJLA IN THE FALL OF 2020. My health is suffering bc of her choosing a… coworker over a patient. I thought patient care came first, I guess I was wrong. I wish never met the both of them.

Having had a lot of experience with doctors while I was in EMS for nearly 14 years .... I got to watch Doctors and how they dealt with patients in an ER setting. Prior to that I worked for an OB/GYN surgeon for 7 years and before that as a Pracitical nurse at the Hospital. I have seen many versions of MD’s during that time. Hands down Dr. Krohn is among the best I have encountered over the years. She is professional and yet personable. The best of both worlds.

Very knowledgeable, listens, and cares about her patients

I found her to be offputting. She tried to treat me using records of another doctor at PE from 8 years earlier, and those were an incorrect dx. I tried explaining I wasn't just looking for pills and I was looking for a definitive dx before taking serious medication with undesirable side effects. And she replied she didn't think I was and proceeded to prescribe drugs. All this from a 10 minute appointment. Disrespectful and arrogant was I experience with her.

Excellent bedside manner. After my first visit, I feel like she has been my doctor for years. It’s refreshing to know that we still have some doctors that care about their patients well being, not just prescribing medications.
