Dr. Shruti Pandita, MD

Dr. Shruti Pandita is a medical oncologist who specializes in treatment of gastrointestinal cancers, including colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, hepatobiliary cancer, neuroendocrine tumors and more. She also treats sarcomas, such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), liposarcoma (cancer of connective tissues) and osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Her research interests include precision medicine and targeted therapy, tailored to a tumor’s unique profile, as an alternative to traditional chemotherapy. Dr. Pandita is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology, Oncology and Cellular Therapy, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Pandita grew up playing violin.
