Dr. Lauren A Ives, MD

Dr. Ives is a wonderful physician who listens to your concerns and takes the time to address your needs. She knows what she's talking about and provides excellent care. I know I can trust her and talk to her about anything, very happy to have her as my doctor.

I am so happy I found this doctor. She is compassionate and responsive. I feel like she is the sort of doctor you always hope you can find but are often disappointed. I have recommended her to many of my friends.

I was unnecessarily skeptical when I was “reassigned” to Dr. Ives when Dr. Girod left. She was just as warm and caring and she quickly won me over. Then when I expressed my disappointment in the cardiologists I had encountered, she suggested one in Madison who treated a member of her own family and I have been forever grateful. I have made it clear to her that she is in charge of my health and should be my point person because she knows me best. She has always listened and been a great partner in my health. I felt the need to write this because of the one person who wrote multiple reviews. Dr. Ives also used to be an ER doctor so I know she has a clear head and sorts the information thrown at her quickly. I have recommended her to my friends.

I should have listened to other complaints posted online about this physician. While my wait time wasn't as bad as an hour like some people, I really felt the doctor was dismissive of my concerns. Maybe we just didn't have a connection or something but overall I left feeling disappointed in the experience.

I so wished that I would have listened to other patients that had problems with this Dr. I have had a year of shame and inaccurate diagnosed condition. She was so unwilling to have a peaceful relationship with me. When I asked to speak with her she sent someone in that I never saw at that clinic before! When I asked why Ives was not willing to address these problems I was told the Dr would NOT TALK to me. I had showed proof of the things she accused me of and this person would not even look at what I brought to show how very wrong she was. I was quickly sent out of the building. Looking back on all the hurt she put me thru I realized that it was a blessing as I finally found a Dr. that is intelligent and the best in every respect. I am proud to say that she really knows what she is doing and would never make the many mistakes that Ives would never address! I feel sorry that I even have to discuss this with other patients to have these problems that others have had! I clearly DO NOT… recommend this Dr to anybody.
