Dr. Nathan S Jeppesen, MD

Nathan Jeppesen, DPM is a foot and ankle surgeon, specializing in diabetic limb salvage and reconstruction, forefoot reconstruction, pediatric deformities, sports medicine, lower extremity biomechanics, primary podiatric medicine, with special training emphasis on foot and ankle deformity reconstruction and trauma. Dr. Jeppesen completed his podiatric surgical residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Sacramento, where he was appointed as the Chief Resident at all Sacramento area Kaiser Hospitals. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Midwestern University, where he earned distinction as a member and vice president of the Pi Delta National honor society and graduated in the top ten percent of his class. Dr. Jeppesen received his undergraduate education from Northern Arizona University, where he was awarded with the Presidential Scholarship and was recognized on the dean’s list. Dr. Jeppesen is actively involved in research and has …published two articles both evaluating the use of stem cells in Metatarsophalangeal Joint Arthrodesis and Chronic Wound and Diabetic Bone Healing. He continues to play an active role in serving the community, including volunteering and lecturing at the Annual Podiatry Institute Conference in San Diego, California, lecturing at Midwestern University as adjunct faculty and is an attending surgeon for the Carl T. Hayden VA podiatric surgery residents. Dr. Jeppesen is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), as well as the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
