Dr. Lana Gaiton, MD

I've been seeing Dominica for 2 years and I have nothing but great things to say about her. My favorite thing about our sessions is that she has taught me to think critically independently. I usually have go over many lengthy stories and details with her. Dominica is very good at sorting through what I say and identifying the issues at hand. Dominica does this by asking me questions, in which my answers allow me to see for myself what the root of the issues is. Our conversations has taught me how to look for the themes/source of things that are happening, even when I'm not speaking to her about it in the moment. I never feel pressured to change my perspective or do things Dominica advises. She supports me and offers guidance, no matter what I end up doing. I feel very comfortable with sharing intimate details of my life with her. Even when she disagrees with me, I understand she is offering me a different perspective in my best interest. Thank you to Dominica for being a… great resource for the past 2 years!!!!

I was extremely weary of seeing a psychologist in the first place, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Gaiton is so soft-spoken and detail oriented that I felt very comfortable around her to open up, which is very hard for me to do.
