Poor patient concern

Failed to provide care instructions for broken toe, refused to discuss patient concerns, abrupt with patient and changed return visit after check up with no instructions other than having office staff say she changed her mind on Patient’s way out of office. On later phone call office staff appeared to know more about care 10 days after first appointment and treatment. office staff knew more about prosthetic equipment as they ordered item. Dr should know what is needed and available for patient care. Not discussed by doctor at initial or follow up visit.

Not given care instructions and unresponsive to patient questions and needs. For broken toe not given care instructions or how to bathe. Left her communication to office staff with no concern for patient needs in pandemic and heat wake. Stay clear of this office. Office staff told me nearly two weeks after accident that there are shower boots and possible protection for swimming. Doctor never gave me care instructions

I went to this doctor with a broken toe. I received no instructions on home care or showering instructions. I asked if I could go in my swimming pool and was told no for no reason. A week later I was concerned that my toe was turning out again so I returned for a check up. All was ok. I asked again about care and use of my swimming pool and was told I could not get the bandages wet. When I passed the reception desk the woman there told me my next check up was now two weeks out. I am a senior alone in quarantine told I cannot use my pool in this heat wave and no instructions from the doctor for care. When I called four days later the person in the phone told me they have a boot for showering and something that my allow me to swim. I cancelled my further visits an am looking for a new podiatrist that cares about my treatment.

Dr Calligaro is a young, skilled surgeon and has excellent office skills. VERY happy with our treatment!
