Dr. Katrina Marie Von Kriegenbergh, MD

I have had no issues with the dr so far but her right hand helper Liz is the absolute worst. She has been sitting on my paper work for two weeks now and told me she already had it processed. Come to find out she never even had the dr change the order. Liz is rude and should not be in the medical field she does not care about patients. One day she might get someone that beats her a$$ treating people the way she does and she will deserve every punch and kick.

Dr Von Kriegenbergh has been an angel for me. She helped me with a Medtronic pain pump implant, as well as epidurals and other methods of pain management. I have chronic pain due to severe auto immune diseases and Dr VK goes above and beyond to research to find what will help me (the patient). Even though Dr VK is extremely busy, she always greets me with a smile and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr Von Kriegenbergh if you’re seeking Pain Management.

Had extreme pain for years from a bulging disc and sciatica, been to other pain doctors and got minimal relief, she administered epidural and I'm feeling better than I have in years.

My pain is never helped with this doctor and I really wanted to believe she would help because she tries to act very nice but there are treatments that others have received to alleviate their pain for long periods of time and she hasn't even brought those choices up. I feel like she believes her job is done the minute you have a prescription in your hand for another month since patients and doctors involved with powerful drugs for long periods of time are getting a bad rep. But getting by isn't enough especially because of the high doses. If anyone is using drugs legal or not for pain, it should work! She acts like she cares but if you arent a patient praising her for being fairly mediocre, she kind of gives up on you I think and probably considers you a lost case so she just focuses on patients that make her look good. Her staff sucks too. They are rude on the phone and are even weirder in person. It's like they are the DMV rejects. They are not only rude but arent very knowledgeable.… Maybe that's because they spend all their time on the fakest doctor alive who probably needs a lot of attention and worship and patience for her mistakes. They even try to sound like her. It really is a lost, twisted, fake and ignorant atmosphere. I'm asking my primary doc. for another referral and no I would not recommend this office unless they were the last place on earth where insurance is worthless after they screwed me up with my ppo insurance twice too many times with careless mistakes that were hard to clean up .

Second night I cannot sleep - the pain is getting worse. The shot (few weeks ago) didn’t do anything. I cannot live in such pain. I am in nightmare

It is rare for a doctor to listen and care like Dr. Von Kriegenbergh does. If you live with chronic pain, you need to see this doctor!

My primary doctor referred to this doctor, and when I called to schedule an appointment 3 weeks after I was approved for the referral by my insurance, the lady I spoke with said she did not have my referral. I asked her why not, she should have it it had been several weeks since I had been approved. She said she would have to call my insurance or I could call my primary to have them fax the referral notice, so I did that instead. By that time the lady was rather impatient and not letting me talk, and I grew frustrated. Two days later I called again to schedule an appointment and at my appointment after signing in I went to sit down. Mind you I was a new patient and it took the receptionist 20 minutes to call my name to give me the paperwork to fill out. That was only because I got up to prepare to ask for it, and as she was on a call she noticed me and called my name then gave me the paperwork to fill out. If I had not gone up there, who knows how much longer I would have… waited. I continued to wait for about an hour and a half to get into the exam room to see the doctor. There the assistant had to input my paperwork info into a tablet which took more time and again I had to continue to wait before I could see the doctor, approximately another hour. By this time I was extremely upset it had taken so long and I was impatient and frustrated with the experience and the low quality of patient care of the office staff. I got out of the exam room and told the assistant I was leaving, and I was tired of waiting any longer and stormed out towards the exit. She ran after me and said I was next, and the doctor was going into my room, so I went back to the room to see the doctor. The doctor explained the situation and calmed me down and said it was a bad day. She recommended surgery and I should hear back from the staff once my insurance approved it. After waiting for 3 weeks and not hearing back from them, I called to see what was going on. The lady I spoke with told me that my chart was just placed on her desk the previous day and she was attempting to prioritize the approval, since the lady who was supposed to work on it originally did not do anything about it. I was so upset that nothing had been done and this lady was not even sorry or accountable for their actions. I told her to not do anything about it that I would get my primary to refer me to a new pain management doctor, someone who was more caring and responsible, she seemed to be fine with it. I have never had such a terrible patient doctor experience as this, this was truly a horrible staff to work with.
