Dr. Syed Shamshad Ali Rizvi, MD

The single worst experience I’ve ever had in healthcare. At the last visit he listed an unbelievable amount of problems to try and cover for why I got up, and walked out after only 10 minutes in his office. I had been going to him for years, reporting bad side effects to the buspar he had me on. If he’s a neurologist, he has no clue what autonomic dysfunction, and small fiber neuropathy look like. He fakes it until you try to rely on something besides the pills that keep you coming back to him. He’s the worst! He’s currently shoving drugs in my father in laws face. Everyone I talk to, all he knows is pills.

Dr. Rizvi will discriminate you if you have chronic pain and choose to self medicate with cannabis. He will slander your name and your encounter if he crosses the line, after multiple visits of me dealing with his comments. He will ignore all of your past medical history, to form an opinion he will force on you. I tried to tell him for years the medication he had me on made me feel awful. I recently was able to stop all of it, and I finally have my own personality back but my physical decline is so great now, I’m going to end up disabled at 39. His malicious treatment of me should be used as an example of why Cannabis discrimination should be punishable by law.
