Dr. Shakir has always been a kind and compassionate doctor. He shows respect to me as a patient. He explains everything he does during the exame to make sure I feel comfortable. He is one of the very few doctors that seems to answer question submitted thru MyChart within 2 hours. I have had a few complications after my surgery and he always has a solution. He is an amazing doctor and human.

The doctor was amazing. It was so refreshing to see a provider that listens to me and takes my needs and wants into consideration. The consultation felt collaborative rather than directive. Dr. Shakir was worth the 6+ hour drive one-way. I'm looking forward to him doing my surgery.

Dr. Shakir is compassionate, patient, and kind. I know for a fact that he has my best interest at heart. His passion for helping people is unmatched. Dr. Shakir deserves organizational recognition such as Physician of the Year. He is a fantastic surgeon and a good man.

Dr. Shakir has gone above and beyond in his care for my dad. He is courteous, caring, and very kind. He listens to our concerns, and answers all our questions. We were never rushed through with him. We felt like family.
