Excellent service. I broke my wrist and was referred to Dr Alex Kelshemier by the ER Doctor. He scheduled me right away for an office visit and very soon after for surgery. He answered all my questions and concerns I had. He is very knowledgeable in his field and Avery caring and sympathic Doctor. Follw what he tells you and do the physical therapy and you won't be sorry you were treated by him. Thank you!

Dr. Kelsheimer removed the nail and cleaned out the infection. He told my husband surgery went well, however the next morning he said I should have my finger amputated to the first knuckle. He kept pressuring me to have the surgery. My other option, which he didn't approve of, was IV antibiotics for 6 wks. I chose this option, however he kept telling me I was making a mistake and that with my medical condition, I would probably loose all of my fingertips. He was rude and cocky. I got a 2nd option from a Wash U hand surgeon. He said all the decisions "I" made about my finger were correct - my finger didn't need to be amputated.

Dr Kelsheimer is a very personable doctor that listens to you and cares about your wellbeing. He is very professional in his diagnosis and surgery. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I had a middle phalanx fracture. Dr. Kelsheimer was amazing right from the beginning

Dr. Kelsheimer was empathetic, patient, and took the time to make sure we both understood the cause and effects of what turned out to be tennis elbow. After months of suffering I am so glad I finally decided to do something about it. Simple physical therapy has not only alleviated symptoms, but made the intolerable, sporadic pain all but disappear. Dr. Kelsheimer respected my time with my visits and unnecessary follow-ups but made it perfectly clear that he was always available if any symptoms return. Couldn’t ask for a more understanding or relatable service provider.

Dr. Kelsheimer has a very professional demeanor. I believe his clinical experience, so far, is limited. My condition was above his pay-grade. Avoid for now.
