Dr. Anna Buteau, MD

I am so disappointed because I really loved Dr Buteau. I have five kids and trying to find time to go to the doctor for myself is rare. I however suffer from migraines and low iron levels. She was really helping me get a handle on those. I got a certified letter in the mail one day from the practice stating the doctor was dropping me from the practice for a bill. I have been going to this practice for years and my parents have been going for 50 years. I left numerous messages to figure out what was going on and no one would return my call. I never received a call or anything in the mail saying I had a balance. I also have been in the office and was never told I had a balance. I needed a prescription refill and received a call they will not refill it. I finally insisted to speak to someone in billing. Come to find out I owe a bill from 2011 for $74 dollars. I offered to pay it and was told it was too late and the doctor may up her mind and there was nothing she would do. … I am now without a prescription refill and very sick because of it.

I am a 57-year-old female and was in search of a new female Primary Care Physician. I did a fair bit of research and landed with Dr. Anna Buteau. Based on only my first visit, I am extremely pleased with Dr. Buteau. She was personable and I felt an immediate connection with her. She spent a long time with me (~1 hour) getting all of my past medical information and history. She did some research of my current meds (in the moment) and made some suggestions for things I could do differently and better. I felt that she was extremely comprehensive and didn't rush through anything. My relationship with Dr. Buteau will develop over time, but I am very satisfied with my first visit! She definitely exceeded my expectations!

I am elderly.Doctor Buteau never bothered to find out the condition of my knees but I did explain I had had two neck surgeries.Without my permission she grabbed both knees-one with a wholly torn miniscus and the other with a big cyst and squeezed them HARD-thus damaging them badly-I had had my blood spun and injected into them and was in no pain.THEN she grabbed the thyroid part of my neck where a scar is from surgery and squeezed that really hard too! I will be going to a knee doctor to get another blood spinning setup and evaluation.She may have broken my neck! I am in excrutiating pain.
