Dr. Kiel Frederick Urata, MD

Amazingly awful! Absolutely no care nor sympathy. Judgmental. Attitude. Unfriendly. Arrogant. Narcissist. His license should be revoked. He is a danger to patients.

My experience with Dr. Kiel Urata leaves me wondering if he really is a doctor who wants to care for people or if he just wants the salary of a physician. I was taken to the Chandler Regional Medical Center for an injury to my arm and neck; and for a concussion. I knew it was serious because I felt a pop in my arm when I fell. I thought it was broken or if not broken, it probably had ligament damage. Dr. Urata did not give me a sling but told me that it is probably just bruised so the main thing is not to move it. I said to him, "There is something seriously wrong in my neck and my arm." He explained how when you have a fall, you can feel bruised. He already chalked it up to not being serious. He sent me for xrays to make sure it is not broken. He only did xrays of my elbow and upper arm. No neck xrays!! No sling!He told me not to move my arm for a few days. I said to him, "I can't move my arm. Look. I can't move it, it's not that I have to try not to move it, I… actually can't move it. There is something wrong in there." His response was, "Well, you can see your primary care for that". I should have had neck xrays; should have had a sling on my arm the moment they saw I couldn't move it; should have had an MRI; should have been given something for pain for a day or two. I'm not an addict, I have insurance; yet he treated me like I was a burden to his time. If you get Dr. Kiel Urata, ask to see someone else. There is so much more I could write.
