Dr. Zaheer Ahmed, MD, is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with a passion for providing cutting-edge care to patients with cancer and …blood disorders. In hematology, Dr. Ahmed focuses on conditions such as anemia, clotting disorders, and blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. In oncology, Dr. Ahmed works with patients battling solid tumors, providing personalized treatment plans that combine the latest in medical research with compassionate care.

Dr. Ahmed completed Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Subsequently, he pursued his passion by training in Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina where he honed his expertise in both benign and malignant hematology, as well as solid tumor oncology. Committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements, Dr. Ahmed regularly participates in clinical research and attends conferences to ensure his patients benefit from the latest therapies and innovations in cancer care. Dr. Ahmed is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH).
