Dr. Ronald Lynn Allen, MD

I saw Dr. Allen on several occasions, I wish my spouse found my mental health issues as boring as Dr. Allen did, maybe my marriage wouldn't be at it's end. My stories eventually got boring no doubt but I was seeking help for some major psychotic episodes that one would at least likely find humorous. I saw Dr. Allen a few times early morning then a few times early afternoon, about 5 times in all, he fell asleep at least 4 times. In all fairness, I am not talking about tongue hanging out snoring, but I could have slipped out of the room unnoticed. I am not the sort of person to speak ill of someone professionally but this is sad behavior. I was weak then and looking for help, I am somewhat stronger now but still seeking help for my issues. Much of what I suffer from was likely a side effect of some medications I was on, another item that went unnoticed by Dr. Allen and other providers in Knoxville. I likely provided more details than necessary as I was trying to leave no stone… unturned. I paid the bills, I wouldn't again. Go have lunch with Dr. Allen, he is a good casual conversationalist, but don't dwell too long on your own problems or you may find him face down in his soup.
