Both Dr. Assi and Nick were very thorough and kind. I deeply appreciated the time they took to explain and discuss my treatment with me. It was a difficult day getting disappointing news, but I am very pleased with the team and truly believe I am getting world class care at Vanderbilt. Dr. Assi was very thorough and honest with me about my treatment plan and I appreciated that he put my safety as the top priority for surgery.Nick talked to me individually for several minutes longer. He was very kind and is a great listener. He worked with me to make a plan for my next steps. He is a great asset to this team and a great patient advocate.
