Rude staff, with very suspect billing policies. Bills what they are charging your insurance not the allowable, even in network. When asked for a refund of the difference they were annoyed, I got the feeling I would have never been refunded if I did not call

I had a broken and infected back molar which was beginning to abscess into the lower jaw area, and was EXTREMELY swollen and painful. My dentist could not perform this procedure and referred me to a few oral surgeons to consider. I already have had all 4 wisdom teeth and a top molar pulled previously, all done at different times and with other doctors in the past. 4 of those 5 weren’t the greatest experiences, so I was VERY nervous going into this today - and the bad reviews online didn’t help me much either. I don’t ever write reviews, but I had such a positive experience today, I had to write something to counter these poor reviews for him. My experience today was great, the office staff was pleasant, his assistant was super kind and attentive, and he was as gentle, quick and friendly as they come. He was very aware and concerned about my pain level and comfort throughout the entire procedure. My mouth was extremely sensitive sitting down for this, and under his care I… FELT NOTHING!! And zero additional pain, even post-op after the novocaine wore off. So I don’t believe his overall rating is accurate AT ALL, and in my opinion quite unfair and undeserved.

Did a surgery for me that was not needed as a result I had to have my tooth pulled

I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and had much anxiety leading up to my visit. All I have to say is Dr Jeffery is the man!!! Made me feel very comfortable, was very gentle and the entire procedure took about 20 seconds. Thank you so much!!

Your bill always will be much larger then what was promise at front desk. Your stuck with it. Also, Doctors don't spend much time with patient family once the Surgery is done you are on your own. They really run high way robbery.

I had been to Dr Barry, Many Times my whole family had. The man was ONE of a kind, outstanding in every way for years! After he left I saw his son Jeff ONCE expecting the same. Would NEVER go back again! My opinion is just because he is his fathers son doe's not mean HE can fill those shoes!!!! It is VERY clear by the other post's I am not alone. Like many the first thing people do is look for reviews on the medical doctors WE in most cases are depending on to help us with unbearable pain or even heal us . The best schools in the world cannot teach character , compassion, professionalism , and a sense of understanding for WE your patients . That comes from within . A business of course costs to run, understood and WE do pay ! However as a business , you are only as good as the STAFF you choose to be, hire and or train.

Someone recommended Dr. Elbaum when I needed a tooth extracted. Dr Elbaum made me comfortable, and I am relatively squeamish about dental experiences. The procedure was very pleasant and I am considering Dr Elbaum for additional work I need. They also seem very good working with your insurance plan, helping you save money.
