Dr. Daniel Hector Nelson, MD

Dr Nelson removed cataracts and implanted multifocal lenses. I had been told they would not work for me due to a previous procedure but Dr Nelson listened to me and after careful testing felt I could have them. I can see perfectly and seamlessly transition between all distances. It’s been a wonderful experience with a wonderful, caring doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Nelson by Dr. Wood due to my diagnosis and medical needs. He has been very thorough in his exams and interviews. I have ocular rosacea, glaucoma and I had cataracts. He has done my 2 cataract surgeries with no complications, prescribed my glaucoma medication and advised me on my eyecare for the rosacea. I am very grateful and satisfied with his ongoing care.

I have multiple eye conditions that require me to see an opthalmologist on a regular basis. I have found Dr. Nelson to be very competent as well as personable.

I saw Nelson, MD who failed to diagnose me correctly and spent with me 4 minutes after I waited for 2 hours to be seen! While I was still asking questions about my condition, he was done writing his report, got up and started moving towards the door telling me to follow him. He could not wait to get rid of me.The worst thing is if I timely got to see a decent specialist, not a quack, I would avoid severe complications. Thinking that maybe I try another doctor in the same clinic (eye medical center), I scheduled an appointment with Wood, MD. The wait time was 3 weeks but a day before the appointment they called and left a message that they "need to reschedule." Terrible experience with horrible charlatans! Very unfortunate that I ever went there, if found a good specialist sooner instead of wasting time with those quacks, would have avoided serious irreversible complications.
