I feel so lucky to have Dr. Hussain as my surgeon. He is very kind and compassionate - in addition to having excellent surgical skills. I see how the other staff respect him and want to make him proud, which makes being a patient an even better experience.

Dr. Hussain has demonstrated kind and patience service. During the consultation process he fully explained the problem and the procedure process he will conduct. During recovery in the hospital he made periodic visits checking my progress. He also made time explaining everything to my family. I would recommend Dr I. Hussain and his friendly staff.

I had an emergency admission to neuroscience at Weill Cornell after an MRI at their downtime facility, which showed that I had a subdural hematoma. Fortunately, Dr. Hussein was on duty that evening with with his wonderful bedside manner he explained the situation I was in and what he planned to do the next morning if I was willing to give the go ahead.. I was so put at ease by him and his honesty (including possible negative consequences …… the probability of a negative consequence was very very low and I had no problem believing that without only hesitation ) that I gave the go ahead without hesitation. So glad I did..! I had fallen 3 months earlier by slipping on the ice in VERMONT and hitting my head and had no idea that I had a brain bleed for three months. Before I was put under in the operating room, he was there with smiling face, reassuring me, and again when I I woke in my room after the operation.. I had a follow up visit with him this Monday and again was put at ease and… felt I blasted unfortunate. I was that he was my surgeon. I would certainly without hesitation recommend/ refer Dr Ibrahim Hussain to a family member or a friend who was in need of a first rate neurosurgeon Charlie O’Sullivan New York City

I had my first visit with Dr Hussain. I found him very personable and trust worthy. He took time to answer all of my questions and concerns. He suggested looking at all options to remedy my problem and didn't push surgery as a final solution, even though he's a surgeon.

I am a complex patient with a lot of medical issues.. Dr Hussain has never once made me feel like I was crazy or a burden. He really listens and understands! I just had a 2 in 1 surgery with him and will more than likely need another some time this year. I 10/10 trust him with my life. Literally.

Dr. Hussain was excellent. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to clearly explain my imaging and what he thought was going on with my spine. I never felt rushed, and he answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. I left the appointment feeling reassured, and confident in the plan moving forward. Dr. Hussain has been my son's spine doctor for the past 3 years. I love how he directs the conversation towards my son so my son is included and we're not talking about him while he's present.
