Dr. Marri Horvat, MD

Dr. Horvat has been great in helping me figure out what are the best options for my sleep apnea. I hate using the CPAP machine and she helped me understand the benefits and also which masks would best fit my needs. She always takes the time to listen to me concerns and answer all my questions. I highly recommend her to anyone frustrated with their sleep issues.

I don’t normally write rewviews but Dr. Horvat is the great. She is very open and honest and listened to my concerns. While she didn’t agree with what I thought was needed, she explained it in detail and came up with an alternative plan. I couldn’t ask for more

She did a great job working with my dad. He has a lot of questions and likes to go through technical details that can be frustrating for other doctors we have seen (hes a retired physician). She did a great job working with him and was very kind

Dr Horvat is the best doctor I have ever seen. I went to multiple clinics and doctors, and she was by far the best. She spoke to me about my issues and my concerns, while writing down everything I said. She reassured me things would get better and now I feel a million times better. I will happily go back to her for any of my medical needs. I couldn't recommend her more.

I have been seeing Dr.Horvat for the past several years and she has done a wonderful job. I had seen several other specialists before seeing her, all who dismissed my complaints (one even said it was in my head!!). She listened to me and has really helped me over the past few years find a treatment that works. I just found out she is no longer at U of M and saw her replacement who was no where near as good, so I thought it was time to write a review so others know how great she is.

Dr. Horvat is amazing! She spent over an hour with me discussing my symptoms and made some very good recommendations. I have suffered with insomnia for years and over the past 2 months following her advice i have been sleeping through the night! I have complained about these symptoms for years and i felt like Dr. Horvat was the first doctor to actually listen. I will say that the appointment did drag on at the end, but i think that had more to do with her talking to the other doctors while i waited. I highly recommend her!!!

I had a terrible experience with Dr.Horvat. I was assigned to her for a sleep disorder workup. She was very condescending, and made me feel like I was wasting her time when I would ask even one question. I would not recommend her at all. She seemed to have a fixed mindset about what she thought the issue was before even speaking to me, and did a really poor job communicating. I expected a lot better from a University of Michigan doctor.

Dr horvat is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I know her time is limited but she took more time than any other doctor to sit and listen to my issues. Will definitely be switching my neurologists!
