Dr Santarelli guided and supported me through a surgery to remove a tumor that could have been cancerous. He explained everything and took time to answer any questions or concerns I might have had. I trusted him and would recommend him highly as a great surgeon!

Dr. Santarelli has been wonderful and was such a source of reassurance while I was going through thyroid cancer during my pregnancy. He always took his time explaining everything and answering all of my and my husband’s questions, and I never once felt like I was just another patient. His entire team is incredibly welcoming and compassionate, and you can truly feel how invested they are in the well-being of their patients.

He looks you in the eye while speaking with you— he is clear and concise, empathetic and focused on what you are saying. He doesn’t speak over you or cut you off— which is very refreshing and somewhat unusual these days in medicine. He didn’t push me into surgery but felt the most reasonable path forward was to wait and see. I was so relieved to find Dr Santarelli and get a reasonable second opinion. His ego is not so large as to think the only path forward is immediate and radical surgery. I am now a huge fan of Dr Santarelli because he listens and responds and THINKS about what he is saying.
