Dr. Israt Gazi

Dr. Gazi is a good doctor. However, her staff that handles phone calls concerning prescriptions are totally incompetent! This is crazy, stayed on the phone for 30 minutes because they never called in my prescriptions the day before, during my visit to Dr. Gazi. It gets real frustrating dealing with these type situations.

Dr Gazi is a caring physician

My experience visiting Dr. Israt Gazi was above and beyond. When I came in for an annual physical or had any issues that concerned me, she was thorough in offering me multiple options for treatment and care in a timely manner. Her etiquette and genuine care for my concerns definitely speak numbers. Instances such as when she went out of her way in helping me find affordable places for labs, and her fast response time when I was needing a prescription called in, despite it being over the weekend. If you’re trying to find new pcp and are looking for a doctor that will listen and help treat all your health concerns, I would undoubtedly recommend scheduling an appointment with her!

I had a great experience with Dr. Gazi. I was seen in a timely manner and she was reasonable with all the questions I needed that were to be addressed. She spent a lot of time with me during my visit and did not rush anything whatsoever. She updated me on all my immunizations which I didn’t realize were outdated and offered to update me on the flu vaccine as well. She was an extremely kind and compassionate doctor and I have been recommending her to everyone who needs a new PCP!

I normally saw her colleague, Dr Peck, who was fantastic. Dr Peck was booked up so they told me I had to see Dr Gahzi instead - I knew my symptoms were severe and couldn’t wait until they could get me in with Dr Peck. Dr Ghazi talked down to me very condescendingly, didn’t even address what I went in for at all, didn’t order any tests at all despite telling her about severe symptoms (turned out to be lymphoma- cancer of lymph nodes and diagnosis was delayed because I had to find another dr). She visually looked at me and told me there was nothing wrong, but “perhaps I just needed more sleep” then sent me on my way. I told her I didn’t think that was the problem but she quickly snapped back at me. A week later I got a call wanting to set up a sleep study in her lab, despite me telling her I wasn’t interested. A week after that, two other drs offices I had never heard of called and said she had referred me to them - one being a gynecologist. I NEVER discussed ANYTHING related to… gynecology at all with her (and already have a gynecologist) and NEVER discussed anything about her referring me to these other doctors - she bluntly had said “nothing was wrong with me”. I had an orthopedic boot on foot due to torn tendon at time (and already had surgery scheduled with orthopedic surgeon). She started lecturing me how I don’t need surgery, I “just need to stretch it out” and I “was a fool if I had surgery for that.” Mind you, I had already seen TWO well-known orthopedic surgeons who actually saw the MRI and X-rays, which she had not seen, but she’s going to give medical advise based on visually looking at me?! I wouldn’t trust her with my dog. I now won’t even go see Dr Peck out of fear I’ll run into this crazy lady. Poor communication, condescending, and doesn’t even seem to know what she’s doing. You can’t diagnose a patient by just visually looking at them. I HAVE CANCER with obvious symptoms and she didn’t even order blood work! Worst dr I’ve ever seen and considering all my issues, I’ve seen hundreds so that’s saying a lot!
