I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wohlgemuth, for the first time, having been a previous patient of his partner, Dr. Holly Puritz. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I was struck by Dr. Wohlgemuth's considerate approach. Instead of making me wait, he came to the waiting room and escorted me to his office, where he listened attentively to my concerns. I was genuinely impressed by his willingness to collaborate with me on my healthcare, making me feel like an active participant in the decision-making process. It was my first day at the Group for Women and there were a few ladies waiting. I expected to be sitting for a while but as soon as my patient info paperwork was filled out Dr. Wohlgemuth was ready for me. He made sure I was comfortable and explained everything he would do that day. He work was quick and concise, but he made time to sit with me and addresses any of my concerns.

Dr. Wohlgemuth is extremely kind and very knowledgeable about women's health. He is super helpful with any female problems. He listened, and took his time taking me through each step of my appointment. His chair-side manner is A+ and always helped me off the exam table. It is very pleasant atmosphere with the care, help, understanding from him and his team and my experience truly could not have been better. I will continue to go back and this is the Dr. and the team I highly recommend and appreciate!

Dr. Wohlgemuth is the best doctor I’ve ever seen. I’m 56 years old and I’ve seen quite a few doctors in my days and he is by far the best. Dr. Zach is amazing! He has a great bedside manner and makes sure you dont have any questions before you leave the appt. He is professional and personable. He was thorough in getting to know me and my history. I enjoyed that he shared things about himself as well. I never felt rushed. I am excited to have him and his team in charge of my care. I have already recommended him to friends and family. I highly recommend him for ob/gyn care.

Dr. Wohlgemuth is amazing. He doesn't push anything on you and respects your personal goals/wishes around your pregnancy and baby. He treats you like a person. He is well-versed "medically and holistically." He is thorough and I just can't say enough good things about him. My first pregnancy was wonderful until it wasn't, ending with severe pre-e starting at 28 weeks. He sent me to the hospital for bloodwork and I suppose I took a little longer than most to make my way there and he actually called and followed up with me to make sure everything was okay because he had not gotten the lab results back yet from the hospital. Most doctors would've continued on with their patients and forgotten unless notified but he didn't! And with the vital results I ended up getting back, most providers would've just pushed for c-section immediately... but he did everything he could to keep me AND my baby strong and safe for as long as possible. We made it to 34 weeks. I'm currently pregnant again with… my second child and he is my OBGYN again and I am just so thankful to have a doctor like him.

Doctor Zach W. is the absolute best! He has a friendly and warm disposition that makes you look forward to your visit. He will answer all your questions and he speaks in layman’s terms! You leave feeling as though you have all the information to make a good decision when it comes to your health. His staff are also nice and courteous. It’s overall a very positive experience when I visit Group for women. They were recommended to me by my mother in law because they assisted in delivering my husband almost 40 years ago. She had a great experience then and it continues to be great.

Saw Dr. Wohlgemuth due to problems I was having related to uterine fibroids. I was able to get an appointment within a matters of days. He was extremely welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the moment I met him. I had several additional visits with him prior to having the surgery he ultimately performed. He was always professional, but welcoming, encouraged me to ask questions (and I had a lot!), listened to my answers and concerns and provided detailed and informed responses. He never made me feel rushed or as if my time with him was limited, not once. I was pleased with the surgical process and aftercare as well. Most of my appointments were at the Kempsville Rd location and most (not all) of the staff were also warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Wohlgemuth and wouldn’t hesitate go to him again, if needed.
