When I had a painful dental emergency during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Scutari kindly performed the necessary extraction in his Ithaca office. He is an exemplary surgeon: adroit, tactful, communicative, and highly skilled. Having x-rays taken (at another practice) was more uncomfortable than the extraction, which took less than five minutes. Another dentist had refused to perform the extraction unless I agreed to receive nitrous oxide. I knew that was unnecessary, and Dr. Scutari used only a local anesthetic. His operating room is sparkling clean; the staff are personable, attentive, kind, and professional. It was a thoroughly positive experiment in every way. Bottomline: if you're investigating the options, you've found a great oral surgeon in Dr. Scutari. Look no further!

I was of course nervous about having a tooth extracted. But Dr Scuteri and his staff put me at ease. He told me that the actual extraction would only take about 5 minutes! They are all very professional and he is very gentle! Having recently had a "heart event" they had to hook me up to monitors etc...and then inject the Novacaine..which all took more time than the actual extraction! My appt was at 10:30 and I was literally leaving the office by 10:45! It was only slightly uncomfortable for the rest of that day...but I slept well and awoke in the AM with no pain! I highly recommend Dr Scutari!!

I did not have a pleasant experience with Dr. Scutari . I did not get questions as to the cost of a potential procedure answered in a timely manner. He left me waiting for over 3 weeks before revealing he would not be able to help me. I felt over charged for a head scan I absolutely would not have had had he been upfront about his way above average cost of a particular surgery. I would not recommend Dr. Scutari to anyone.

Dr. Scutari just removed FIVE not-yet erupted wisdom teeth on my l5 year old grandson - Would recommend him highly to anyone. Very patient, polite, and pleasant, and most importantly, very skilled. We love him!

Dr. Scutari accepted me as a patient when I would have had to wait two months to have an extraction of a very painful tooth. He was kind, informative and cognizant of my anxiety. His staff is incredibly professional and know their jobs very well. I couldn't have dreamed of a more positive experience for such a terrifying procedure.

Dr. Scutari and his fabulous staff removed 6 teeth from my 13 year old daughter (she had overcrowding, impacted teeth, braces...you name it!). I was a nervous wreck but there was no reason to be anxious because they took care of her with the utmost excellence and it was the most positive experience. 4 people were in the room with her, it was quick, professional and they were so compassionate. I am so glad that I trusted Dr. Scutari and his team with my precious daughter. I can't thank them enough!!!

This man will try to make money off of you if he can, even if it means deceiving you about the need for surgery. He destroyed my self esteem and insisted on my need for surgery even as it was becoming apparent that it was not necessary (hence the need to tear down my appearance to convince me to go forward with it). It is truly unscrupulous what he and the orthodontist did. May God help the people willing to destroy another human being for profit. I will never forget the horrible experience I had with Scutari.
