Dr. Jennifer D. Kraft, MD

Dr. Jennifer Kraft is a fabulous physician. I've been to many over the years and she is my favorite. The reason she is my favorite is because she listens intently , answers my questions. She explains everything clearly and has a very warm and caring approach to her patients. She's wonderful!

Dr Kraft is wonderful ! I had to switch primary care doctors because of insurance. She picked up the ball and is on top of everything. She takes her time. I have never felt rushed. Her office staff is very welcoming. I am very comfortable with her as my trusted physician. I wish it was a bit easier to contact their office rather than going through the central scheduling first. However, that being said, I never had a problem getting someone when I needed them just an exrta step. I think that is an issue all over the system though.

I truly cannot express how upset I was leaving my appointment with Dr. Kraft. The nurse was lovely but the second that Dr. Kraft took over, it was an awkward nightmare. She was incredibly judgmental of my weight/BMI and mental health without asking really any questions about my medical history, lifestyle, stressors, or really anything. She didn't even ask why I do for a living - I had to offer most of the information to which I was met with silence or "okay..". After sharing that I have recovered from an eating disorder and a lifetime of hating my body, she (without ANY reasoning) orders me to go on a vegan diet [backtracked by saying there aren't good or bad foods.... BUT that I need to avoid red meat - I rarely eat any red meat]. She then says that I know that I need to exercise more and to even try to get out for a walk every day (I had shared that I have a dog and walk him every day...). She then hands me paperwork with my weight on it (when I had asked not to see the number),… orders an entire panel of bloodwork (without telling me why), and tells me a few supplements that would be good for my "concerns". When I asked how they can help, she seemed irritated and said she doesn't know the chemical breakdown. I walked away from this encounter feeling triggered in my ED recovery, unheard, unattended to, judged, sad, angry, and ashamed. I will never step foot back in that office and encourage you to do the same.

What a joke. She saw my weight and, without asking about any thyroid history, stress level, or activity level, lectured me about becoming a vegan and ordered a diabetic test. Won't be going back. Office staff was lovely.

I was super nervous about seeking out a new doctor, but I'm so so glad I decided to trust my gut and go with Dr. Kraft. She is so incredibly sweet, attentive, and you never feel like you're being rushed out of the room. She's a very easy doctor to talk to and seeks out ways to optimize your health both inside and outside of medicine.

Dr. Kraft is a wonderful doctor. She is kind and sympathetic and more importantly she actually listens to my concerns.
