Dr. Blake Andrew Kandah, MD

I hate for Dr. Kandah’s first review to be a bad one but here it goes. I went in because I was in serious pain. I had an appt with Devon Parks the next Wednesday. All I wanted was enough pain medication to last one week to see Devon. Dr. Kandahar is very young and was focused on lecturing me about NSAIDS and Opioids. I told him that I understood that he had to tell me about the risks. He talked over me and had no interest in my situation, he just kept repeating his policies. He said he had no interest in managing someone on pain meds—I told him it was only for a week. He settled on an injection and gave me the week of Vicodin. He is young. I hope that he learns compassion and kindness at some point as dealing with pain management requires way more than he has to give at this point.
