Dr. Megan Christine Rooney Thompson, MD

Dr. Rooney and her assistant were truly fantastic. They made me very comfortable and made sure I knew I was in control of the appointment. They were both mindful of my childhood SA background, and even gave me resources for counseling. I couldn’t have imagined the appointment going better!

My doctor retired, so I made an appointment with Dr. Rooney, thinking she would be just as good. So disappointed. She was extremely rude and yelled at me when I tried to give her my history. Then she misdiagnosed my ultrasound, saying it was nothing when it was tumors. She would not do the surgery and referred me to another doctor. I will never go back.

Terrible experience. Guess I should have looked the the reviews before I signed up for pre-natal care here. Usually don't put a lot of stock in reviews but the extremely low rating they recieved makes perfect sense from first hand experience. It was a disaster from the first visit (pre-screening) on staff is rude and honestly look like they hate their jobs every time you visit. If you want the lowest standard of prenatal care in Greene Co. look no further!! Expect no communication on everything from test results to billing and payment info. Had to stay on my doctor constantly just for basic routine care. After a scare that would potentially lead to a C-section delivery- had to remind her what I was there for, why we did an ultrasound that day to even find out about the outcome of that as she had completely forgotten. Look at a chart how hard is it!? AND was threatened by my Dr. Megan Rooney-Thompson, All in ONE visit!! Jam packed full of horrible patient care and customer service.… Steer Clear if you are an expecting mother. Needless to say I switched doctors. If I can't trust your office as a whole to do your basic day to day jobs correctly, no way would I trust you to deliver my child in one piece.
