Padma Chitnavis, MD

Dr. Padma Chitnavis brings with him an interest in many different skin conditions, including acne. Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Padma Chitnavis joins the Pinnacle Dermatology team with many years of medical teaching and hands-on experience. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, formerly known as the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond, VA. Prior to that, Dr. Chitnavis received his Bachelor of Science at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where he graduated with honors and summa cum laude. He completed his residency in Dermatology at Howard University Hospital and at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He has written and presented on various skin conditions at medical conferences and for professional medical publications. Dr. Chitnavis brings with him an interest in many different skin conditions, including acne, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, vitiligo, skin cancers, and hidradenitis …suppurativa, among many others. He enjoys providing skin care to patients of all ages, including surgeries and non-invasive cosmetic procedures. Improving self-esteem and quality of life for his patients motivates him to provide care with an individualized and up-to-date approach. He is thrilled to become a part of the Pinnacle Dermatology team and a member of the greater Charlotte area community.
