If I could give ZERO stars I would. My son was seen by this provider as a follow up appointment after he previously tested positive for Flu. I scheduled a follow up as he developed symptoms I felt were unrelated to flu. He had a Rash around his mouth eyes. I told her he was in pain whenever I picked him up and was red under his arms. She told me it was the way I was holding him and told me to give him Zyrtec for seasonal allergies- ( my son is 22 months ) less than six hours later the rash spread under his arms and all over his body. We took him to the ER and he was eventually transferred to the Nemours Children’s hospital trauma for a potentially fatal skin infection ! Dr Houck dismissed my concerns and did not give my son a proper examination, had she simply lifted his shirt after I told her he was in pain she could have saved us precious time and my son would have gotten the urgent treatment he needed faster. Very upsetting.

My son was a little apprehensive about his past appointment, not only was Dr. Houck courtesy to myself, but also made my child feel much more relaxed about the whole ordeal. She was very professional and made sure my concerns were properly addressed before the visit was over. A+ interaction
