Dr. James P. Perkins, D.C., is the Chiropractic Physician and Clinic Director of Youngstown Spine & Disc in Boardman, Ohio. Born and raised in Cincinnati, he developed an early interest in health, human movement, and wellness. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University, with a focus on Exercise Physiology and Human Nutrition. This strong educational background, combined with his passion for helping others live healthier lives, led him to a career centered on conservative, non-surgical approaches to pain relief and spinal health.

Education and Training

Dr. Perkins earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Since starting his professional career in 2011, he has remained dedicated to helping patients manage pain while exploring alternatives to unnecessary medications and surgery. He also completed post-doctorate training through the University of Pittsburgh School of …Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, where he earned certification as a Primary Spine Practitioner. This advanced training has further strengthened his expertise in the conservative evaluation and treatment of spine-related conditions.
