Dr. Nan Wang, MD

Never had seen this provider. I chose her because I only see female doctors. The video on the Nash Obgyn had a very amicable looking lady and she felt welcoming Due to a bad experience with a provider at this practice and bouncing around trying to find a new provider, I hadn't been to the ob-gyn in about 3 yrs, and I have had several issues with my cycle that was getting worse. When she walks in I greet her, she says nothing. Frankly I'm floored because she looked nothing like the lady in the video, she never introduced herself. All my 'Thank you, doctor's were met with silence, she'd just walk out and come back in. Taciturn and cold as ice. Getting a pap is already violates your personal space and you should feel a modicum of respect from your doctor. None at all from her. I don't know if she was being mean because she took issue with the fact I left my previous provider or if she takes issue with Black women. But it was extremely unpleasant. I can't even call it clinical because… her behavior was outright rude. She wraps up my session by telling me to wear a seatbelt (uhmmm) and not to smoke (I have never been a smoker, so what a bizarre, random thing to warn me about). She says I may need surgery, schedules a new appointment then my appointments are canceled and rescheduled 2 more times, all via text and automated call. I received a new appointment today.....scheduled with a new provider. Apparently, Wang just dropped me without saying a word. Absolutely fine by me because I had zero trust of her due to her behavior and I would have found a new practice rather than be forced to see her again. Not worth the discomfort or anxiety.
