Pilar Almy, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist who specializes in diabetic foot complications, geriatric podiatry, and disorders of the toenails and skin. She addresses dermatologic, musculoskeletal, vascular and neurologic problems of the feet. One of her areas of interest is wound care, where there have been tremendous advances with new materials and techniques. She shares clinic time in both Podiatry and the Wound Care Center. Dr. Almy feels people put up with much more pain than they need to. She wants them to know that there are lots of treatment options, and she wants to share them with them so they can remain active. Dr. Almy has been named a Top Doctor by Seattle Metropolitan magazine. Away from work, Dr. Almy enjoys reading, drawing, painting, sculpture, hiking and spending time with her husband and their four children.

Dr Dr Almy provided excellent care to my toe problem and had wonderful ideas and suggestions on my future care. She is an excellent doctor and gave such loving care of my toes. I am grateful to her and to Virginia Mason for providing the scare for me.

Dr. Almy was a godsend after all I've been through. She explained the situation and offered viable solutions, I kept thinking why didn't the others do this? The others were approximately six previous health-care providers.

Dr Gerbino is very good at going over the findings of my tests and asking what all is going on with my health in the past year. He explains things in a way that I can understand. I appreciate the time he spends with me and care he shows me.
