He has a particular interest in running and climbing medicine, chronic tendinopathy, osteoarthritis, and fracture care. Dr. Diaz and along with his wife, Dr. Sarah Diaz, a colorectal surgeon at Essentia, chose Duluth, MN, for its vibrant community, outdoor opportunities, and proximity to family. They have three active children who share their love of sports and adventure. Outside of work, Dr. Diaz enjoys trail running, mountain biking, climbing, and serving as a Flight Surgeon in the Army National Guard.
