Warning to anyone considering this practice: This is one of the most unorganized medical offices I have ever experienced. I was scheduled for a total knee replacement, only to be told the day before surgery that paperwork from my primary care physician was still missing. The staff admitted they had been “trying to reach” my doctor all week but never once called me directly to assist. By the time I found out, it was too late—it was a Friday, my primary care office was closed, and my surgery was canceled. That meant wasted plane tickets, wasted time, and months of wasted planning and preparation. If the back-office processes are this disorganized, it raises serious concerns about what happens in the surgical room. Dr. Winkler’s bedside manner was dismissive at best, and his staff came across as unprofessional, reeking of cigarette smoke and covered in bad tattoos—hardly the impression you want from people entrusted with your care. There are many highly qualified orthopedic surgeons… in this city. For your own safety and peace of mind, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

I was impressed by Dr. Winkler's knowledge and was pleased by his concern and empathy.
