It’s deeply gratifying to be able to help my patients while doing what I love”.
Dr. Zhang …believes that medicine is a two-way street that requires partnership between provider and patient. She finds it very rewarding to get to know her patients, come to understand their individual needs, and work with them to decide on the best treatment plan.
Dr. Zhang has presented several interesting and rare cases at dermatology conferences and her research has been published in journals in the United States and United Kingdom. To stay up to date with new medical developments, she reads current literature, attends dermatology meetings, and has ongoing academic dialogues with her colleagues.
In addition, her professional organizations—the American Academy of Dermatology and the Christian Medical Association, keep her abreast of the latest goings-on in the field.
Dr. Zhang was born in China and is fluent in Mandarin. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was 10 years old where they mostly lived in the Midwest. Prior to relocating to Phoenix, Dr. Zhang practiced in Hawaii for five years. Outside of work, Dr. Zhang enjoys traveling, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and trying new foods. She is excited to be closer to family in Arizona and looks forward to the many hiking opportunities the area has to offer.
