Dr. Michael Choti

Dr. Choti performed a surgery (liver resection) on me that I was told was not possible from other doctors. He has an excellent bedside manner and is knowledgeable. Let's not forget he's a master surgeon!

The best Oncologist Surgeon you can ever have, unfortunately he moved to Texas I do really miss him.

Dr. Choti is amazing He saved my life. Three years after diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma, I remain cancer free. The first doctor I went to said he could give me "palliative care." Here I am three years later with a clear scan He is direct, compassionate, shows a personal interest in addition to being incomparably skilled. I have just discovered that he is moving to Dallas, TX. Baltimore's (and my) loss, but Texas gain. He is truly a unique human being and surgeon. He has a dedicated following.

I can't thank Dr. Choti enough for taking my case when other doctors told me the surgery was impossible for my pancreatic cancer. He so highly skilled and is the best you could ever ask for. In addition to his expertise, the nursing care during my hospital stay was phenomenal. Dr. Choti is so kind and caring. He was someone I went to for a second opinion and the difference between him and the first doctor I saw was quite drastic. I am so happy I went to him.

I have colon cancer that spread to my liver. And I had a mass in my pancreas. Dr. Choti was recommended by our primary care doc after we were unhappy with a first opinion and treatment approach. What a big difference to meet with Dr. Choti and his amazing team. I could tell right off that he is an expert in this area and that his approach was the best. He ordered different tests that revealed more of the true nature of my condition. He performed a six hour surgery on me that was very successfful. I have complete trust in him. Johns Hopkins is the best. You owe it to yourself to get a second opinion and consider Dr. Choti. In addition to cutting edge competency, he and his team are compassionate as well.

I'm sure he's the best in the world in his areas of expertise. He's done two surgeries on me, both resulted in diagnosis of benign masses which were of uncertain condition and required the proceedures. I can't recomend him more highly.

Dr. Choti is a skilled surgeon, offering hope to those whom other doctors may have turned down. He is compassionate, forthright in his assessment and diagnosis, and wonderful human being in addition to being an outstanding surgeon. I'd recommend him to anyone with cholangiocarcinoma (mine) and pancreatic cancer (a friend's who remains cancer-free 1 1/2 years after Dr. Choti operated)..A first-rate doctor.
