Dr. Jana D Illston, MD

Don't waste your time. She's advertising herself as a provider who treats pelvic pain...she does not. She has nothing to offer medically regarding any medication for nervc pain etc. She does no pain management what so ever. None. If you ask for it, you're treated like you're seeking narcotics. There are solutions for nerve pain and this doctor needs to learn more about them. Also, while her staff is nice in person, their communication is VERY POOR and SLOW. While other doctor's will respond by phone call or via portal, this doctor does not.

Very impressed by Dr. Illston. She took time to listen to my questions and had thoughtful answers. I'll be going back!

Always had to wait long times in waiting area and in rooms, after surgery still had leakage after bladder suspension and was told was my anatomy. My time from work is worth something. Only offer was to do another $ test which took 3 months to get a call back for appointment after I had called 2 times and by then had already found another physician and had tests. On another path now.

My experience with Dr. Illston is that she is overbooked and overworked. She is far too busy and overwhelmed to give proper attention and care. The rushed care has resulted in a misdiagnosis, multiple follow ups, and hours waiting for her in the exam room. I'm sure she would be a fine doctor if given the time it takes to actually get to know her patients and their concerns. I do not recommend seeing Dr. Illston.

Dr Illston has a wonderful bedside manner and takes the time to explain everything and answer questions. She's fantastic.

High quality professionalism of Doctor Jana Illston made me feel that I was in safe hands. Doctor Jana Illston positively changed my medical experience from previous by care. She listen and taken time to explain options. She’s expert in her field. This was the best professional medical care since I moved to Atlanta five years ago. I’m very grateful to have her as my DOCTOR.

I have seen OBGYN for over years and just have seen her over the last few visits. She appears kind, pleasant, detail oriented and caring. I don’t have any heath issue but I will keep seeing her many more years to come. Another additional positive note would be her new office; the location is good with convenient parking, the office is new with nice staff. Overall it was a very nice visit at this new location.

Dr Illston is professional, very knowledgeable & caring. She listens to your questions, concerns, and problems & explains things clearly. I was not rushed and she was very helpful & easy to talk with. Highly recommend. The office staff was courteous and friendly!
