Dr. Regan Allen, MD

Dr. Regan Allen is an obstetrician-gynecologist with a strong foundation in clinical medicine and public health. She earned a B.A. in Neuroscience, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and received her M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, concurrently earning an MPH with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health in 2018. Dr. Allen completed residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital and was the recipient of the Annelle Ahmed, M.D. Women’s Health Care Award in 2018, reflecting her commitment to excellence and patient-centered care. Her combined clinical and public health training supports an evidence-based, outcomes-focused approach to women’s health and obstetrics.

Dr. Allen provides comprehensive reproductive care for patients from adolescence through adulthood. She performs minimally invasive gynecologic surgery—laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures—and offers advanced in-office interventions when appropriate. As a member of Vernon & Waldrep OB-Gyn Associates, founded in 1983, she practices within a five-physician group that prioritizes individualized care, current surgical options, and attentive patient communication, with deliveries performed at Medical City Dallas Women’s Hospital, a Maternal Level IV facility with a Level IV NICU.
