Dr. Johnna D. Hobbs, OD

I was encouraged to consider Dr. Hobbs for a pretty severe dry eye issue. Even though it was a bit of a drive, I can't say how happy I was to have followed up on the referral to her. First, the clinic beforehand was outstanding, gathering a significant amount of testing information. Then, when I got to see Dr. Hobbs, she was outstanding in explaining exactly what was going on, the likely reasons why, and a treatment plan. She also included options for lower cost eye drops if the initial ones were too costly. She answered every single question I had and her staff were wonderfully helpful when I did, indeed, need lower cost medication options. I can't say enough good things about her and I'm very glad that I've found such a great Ophthalmologist as I head into my senior years.

Dr. Hobbs is an engaged doctor who takes the time to explain conditions and help me understand questions related to my eye health. She is smart, kind and encouraging. I don't always feel as confident in the technicians who do the diagnostic tests at the beginning of my visit. They often do not know how to answer my questions and seem a bit disengaged. It would be great if this part of my visit were as consistent as the time spent with Dr. Hobbs.

I've been seeing Dr. Hobbs since just before my cataract surgery in 2019. Competent, caring and attentive to my concerns. I trust her to manage my glaucoma care and monitor my retinal health. I have no issue in recommending her services.
