Dr. Brian Alan Herbst, DO

Dr. Herbst is the best physician I've had as well in my lifetime. He and I had many deep conversations and I never hesitated to confide in him. Those who mention having issues with him I can't speak to. He NEVER dropped the ball in my care. After BMG sold out to an investment group last summer, there was an obvious morale problem across the board at BMG, imo. I would opine that most physicians at the Group might be guilty of the same, possibly.

fantastic Doctor and Great listener and very professional.I never felt rushed, he always gave me plenty of time if needed. I work with physicians for a living and he seems to be top notch! Highly recommended.

He was the best doctor that I ever had. Always answered all my questions and helped me get to the bottom of my medical condition.

Everyone in the office is great besides the doctor himself. He seems put out by doing his job. His appearance does not scream “healthy” to his patients. Seems to be more worried about other things. Strange lil man.

My father in law tried getting answers on why he had been feeling lousy for weeks, Dr. Herbst never saw or called him, not even when a test showed stage 4 pancreatic cancer, has his PA do all the dirty work. He"s obviously a doctor (and I use that term loosely) only for the paycheck, which he doesn't deserve) My father in law has days to live and Herbst still hasn't reached out to him. Shame on Buffalo Medical Group for keeping him on.

His office was very unhelpful when I was sick. Visits he cancelled rescheduled months later.

I have never had a doctor that wears a three piece suit . My yearly physical was like a five year old was doing it . For myself being over 50 years old , I should be given a hernia examination and prostrate exam . He only listens to your heart and stomach .doesn't want to get his hands dirty I guess . I only left my prior doctor because they where getting up in age for retirement . I thought a younger doctor would be a good choice . Not the case.

Does not treat his patients with respect . Needs an attitude change . Do not recommend !! Unacceptable treatment by his staff also ! If there was a zero star , he would get it .
