Dr. Catherine Michelle Teskin, DO

If I could give a 0 I would. Observing this Dr Teskin’s logic or lack of from a 3rd party view point (husband of patient) was one of the most shocking things I sadly have experienced while supporting my wife’s journey of diagnosis for Sjogren’s. I’ll start by saying there’s a reason the waiting area is empty in the office. She was very dismissive and all but rushed through my wife’s appointment, after calling us on the way to the appointment to confirm for a second time we were coming… so she could leave early. Secondly, her portal note directly contradicted everything she said during the office visit. Almost in a manner to hide the fact she didn’t know what she was doing. The portal notes read as if she a specialist in the field … but her logic during conversation gave you the feeling you were getting the runaround because she can’t admit she didn’t know. Lastly, Dr Teskin required a test to be completed for Sjogens, a lip biopsy. Very painful, very outdated and inaccurate test, that… clinically is fairly frowned upon. Meanwhile mentioning a possible diagnosis of lymphoma. Only to refuse to test for that unless the lip biopsy was done. Essentially forcing a test and refusing another when the two conditions share the same symptoms. Only to then further dismiss my wife and make her communicate with a secretary to wean of medication she should have never been given and then not refusing service but strongly suggested we return to Penn Medical. All in all this is the type of Dr that is representing Christiana Care. No wonder the ratings are so low. All in all steer clear of this practice.
