I WAS THE 3rd person he had performed this type of surgery on. Thats right it is me Katherine P. I was only 12 years old. I just turned53. I am happily married to one man for 37 years. We have 1 daughter and 2 young grand daughters. You are an amazing Dr. and person thank you for saving my life wish hope your doing well your friend always Kathy. I will always have a special place in my heart for you!

He was very short with me didn’t apologize that he was late said to pretty much wasted his time and to follow up neurology which with my disease it’s a dual team effort going to get a second opinion and he told me I will never need to go under the knife when I have some large tumors.

Dr. U. operated on my mother in Nov. 2007. He along with Dr. Nguyen (ENT) and other doctors and nursing staff saved my mother's life. The operation took a lot longer than we were told, but it's because (we were told) Dr. U. wanted to carefully remove all tumors, to the extent possible and it paid. Today (8 years after surgery) my mother had her yearly visit with him and having looked at the X-ray ahead of time he said that everything looks great (the same as years in the past). My mother and I can't say enough good things about him. Dr. U is one of the best surgeons we know; he does follow-ups on schedule; heâ??s personable; heâ??s funny and heâ??s well traveled to four corners of the World (semi-professional photographer, too). Unfortunately, heâ??s retiring after 40 years of service. In fact, today, we were introduced by him to an up-coming Neurosurgeon. While we believe the passing of the baton will be to another great doctor, surely weâ??re sad to see Dr. U go and we know thatâ??s… imminent.
