Dr. Raymond Fritz - Born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Fritz started private practice in Allentown in 1991. He enjoys treating the full spectrum of foot and ankle problems. Dr. Fritz received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Muhlenberg College and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the Temple School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Fritz completed a two-year surgical residency program at Rolling Hill Hospital in Elkins Park, Pa.
Dr. Fritz has the distinction of being Board Certified by the two nationally recognized boards for the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Fritz is also certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. In addition, he is a Board Certified Pedorthist. Dr. Fritz is a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Fellow of the America College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine, as well as a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Fritz is a Clinical Associate Professor (Adjunct) in Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in the Department of Podiatric Surgery, as well as a Clinical Associate Professor for DeSales University.
Dr. Fritz has 28 total years of military service. As a Seal Corpsman, he was assigned to Seal Team One on active duty. Dr. Fritz continued to serve in the Naval Reserves throughout his school years. He did return to active duty in 1988 to develop a podiatric surgical program at the National Naval Medical Center. During this period, Dr. Fritz served as the Director of Podiatric Surgical Residency Program, Podiatric Medical Consultant to the United States Naval Academy and to the United States Congress. He also served on board the USNS Comfort Hospital Ship during Desert Shield. Dr. Fritz retired a Commander. His last assignment was to Naval Special Warfare Group Two Det 107 in Little Creek, Va.
