Dr. Edward Eugene Tennant, MD

I can't really say he was a bad doctor, he did take care of me when I was pregnant with twins, after a loss to a baby with Potter's Sequence (PS). But his rude comment stuck with me forever, when I changed my mind about having a tubal done after the birth of the twins (26 yrs ago) he told me I'd just keep popping out kids and not able to take care of them. I found that very hurtful and No, I never did get pregnant again, I Knew at 15 that my last child would be before before I was 30.. the twins came when I was 28. I just never appriciated his comment, it was un-professional in my opionion.

I wish Dr. Chambers was still in practice. He delivered both of my children. One in 1979 and one in 1982. I felt so at ease with him by my side. I wasn't worried. He showed such great concern during my pregnancies and throughout the years as my gyn. He was very thorough. I respected him and his beliefs and will always remember our talks and his encouraging words. Since he left, I have gone to 3 different gynecologists. None have the wonderful personality or the charisma that he bestowed. I know I am not just speaking for myself. I have talked to many...we miss him.

That's the title of the book she is writing. The one she wouldn't be able to write if Dr. Chambers hadn't convinced me not to have an abortion. So, while she is a successful young woman in spite of me, she owes her thanks to him.
