Summary

Sierra Sage Recovery Services, provides high-quality care for Nevada Medicaid recipients with substance use disorders and co-existing mental health issues. We ensure members of our community have options to get the comprehensive care that they need.

Addiction Recovery at Sierra Sage

Sierra Sage Recovery Services is built on the cutting-edge addiction counseling programs that we offer to each individual. We offer individual therapy conducted in a private one-on-one setting. Here, clients are able to identify and articulate their issues, discover how they are being affected by substance abuse, and learn coping mechanisms that are healthy instead of harmful.

For some, hearing about and learning from others gives them the support they need to address their own mental health and substance use issues. In group therapy, clients meet at least three times a week for at least three hours to describe and discuss their issues with drug or alcohol addiction. We utilize a host of treatment modalities during group therapy that includes but is not limited to:

-Cognitive-behavioral therapy for substance use disorders

-Integrated cognitive-behavioral therapy for treating depression as well as substance use disorders

-Dialectical behavior therapy

Group therapy provides an environment of shared experiences, processing, and healing. It’s also a proven way to develop the network of support services and community necessary to make a lasting recovery.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment at Sierra Sage

With our dual diagnosis rehab programs, we can identify and treat each individual’s recovery needs. Often, individuals who abuse drugs or alcohol do so to mask an underlying mental health issue such as depression or anxiety. It’s not uncommon for individuals to not even realize they suffer from a co-occurring disorder. Substance abuse becomes a form of self-medicating. Unfortunately, it only makes the condition worse and increases the risk of dependency or addiction.

At Sierra Sage, we focus on each individual’s needs for lasting recovery.  We specifically contracted with NV Medicaid so that we can provide care to those who do not have an employer-sponsored health plan. We believe that everyone who wants help should have access to quality treatment. Our Nevada Medicaid rehab center addresses the root causes and stressors affecting an individual’s substance abuse to lays a foundation for continued healing and recovery.
